T-Shirt #002 in DoBeDo's 'Photographers T-Shirt Series’ is by London-based artist and filmmaker, Dick Jewell.
His practice encompasses photomontage, photography, film-making and book publishing. He released his highly collectible cult first book ‘Found Photos’ (a collection of found passport photos) in 1981. Found imagery and how images are employed in visual culture has been a common theme across Dick’s career. The image for Dick’s ‘Time and Motion’ T-Shirt comes from one of his photomontages made in 1977.
DoBeDo's 'Photographers T-Shirt Series' started in 2009 and has included over thirty photographers over the last fourteen years. T-Shirts are also available via our 'Photographers T-Shirt Series Subscription.'
